This mini omelette is suitable for baby weaning from 6 months and is a nice way for your baby to discover a new texture.

1 medium egg
1 small red onion, finely chopped
Handful of grated cheese
Pepper to season
Knob of butter

Heat the butter in a small frying pan
Beat egg
Add chopped red onion to the egg mixture
Add 2/3s of the cheese to the mixture, and mix again
Pour into the frying pan
Cook for 3 minutes each side (careful when you flip it!)
Put onto a chopping board; add the remaining cheese whilst it’s still warm
Allow to cool and then slice into baby friendly portions

Top tips
You can add lots of different veg to this cheesy omelette.
