Tasty little fritters that can easily be whipped up; the warmth of the cumin make these a flavoursome treat for the little ones, and is also great as a side dish/snack for grown ups

Ingredients
1 large carrot, grated
1 handful peas
2 tbsp plain flour
1 large egg
1/2 tsp cumin powder

Instructions
Cook peas and then add to the grated carrot.  Mix well.
Mix flour, egg and cumin in a separate bowl until combined.  To that, add the pea/carrot mixture.
Lightly spray a non-stick pan with oil
Add one spoonful of mixture to the pan to make one fritter (you should be able to put 3 or 4 fritters in your pan at one time)
Cook for 5 minutes each side
Cool slightly and serve

This makes approximately 8 fritters.
